Awesome rack, but mounting holes could be better

Once mounted, this system is fantastic. However, the mounting could be improved. It seems Velocirax is under the impression that all wall studs are always 16" apart. This is not the case. Mine are about 15.5". Additionally, I have a load bearing beam in the middle of the wall where I wanted to mount it, which throws off the spacing. Instead of mounting holes 4" apart, I suggest that Velocirax double the number of mounting holes. Although 2"assist would be an improvement, the most flexible configuration would be 1", 3", 1", 3" spacing of the mounting holes.

Aside from having to improvise the mounting and not being able to get the two sections continuous, I am really pleased with the quality and function of the rack.

We really enjoy the rack and the safe way it allows us to store and keep our back out of the way from falling and hassle of taking 5 bikes off to get to one.

Easy install

Installation was easy, directions were great. I was really happy with the product quality. The only thing I changed were the drywall anchors for the rear tire brace. The thread in anchors made it way tighter and don't fail.
